Wax Melt Safety & Care

Thank you for choosing hand-crafted wax melts from Serene By Nature Candle Company. Enjoy your fragrance experience safely by following these guidelines.

Before Use

  • Use only in an approved wax warmer designed for wax melts.

  • Place warmer on a stable, heat-resistance surface.

  • Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.

  • Never add water to melted wax.

During Use

  • Do not leave a wax warmer unattended while in use.

  • Do not move the warmer while wax is melted.

  • Use only the amount of wax recommended for your warmer.

  • If scent becomes too strong, turn off the warmer and allow wax to cool.

Replacing Wax

  • Allow wax to cool before handling.

  • Remove old wax according to your warmer manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Do not pour wax down drains.

  • Replace wax when fragrance is no longer noticeable.

Safety Reminders

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Do not consume wax melts.

  • Use only as intended.

  • Discontinue use if warmer becomes damaged.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Candle Safety & Care

Before Each Burn

  • Trim the wick to ¼ inch.

  • Remove any wick trimmings or debris.

  • Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

First Burn

Allow the wax to melt completely across the top of the candle (approximately 2-4 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

During Use

  • Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time.

  • Keep away from drafts and vents.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Never move a candle while the wax is hot.

Candle Safety

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep away from curtains, paper, and flammable objects.

  • Stop use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

  • Extinguish carefully and allow candle to cool before handling.
